D-LEAGUE EVENT #2 WRAP-UP
The D-League is an Official Feeder League of the NPPL
The D-League’s second stop of the 2011 season wrapped up last Sunday at the Tournament Complex at Jungle Island Paintball Park in Lake Elsinore, CA. With new turf fields, plus the amazing weather, the complex couldn’t have been better for our players to play at!

With almost 30 teams all three divisions were hard fought. In Division Two top seeded Wicked was split with overall season leader Marine Team 1 going into the 3rd game. Both teams had aggressive breakouts but Wicked got a player into the snake off the break and surprised Marine Team 1 by shooting 3 players. Wicked closed out the game and won the event.
In Division Three new team L.A. Prodigy almost beat overall season leader Good For Nothing but couldn’t quite hold off the onslaught and had to settle for 2nd. Redux, who played strong all event was able to take out Raw Material for a strong 3rd place showing.
In Division NBK was the 8th seeded team and had to take on Event #1 Winners TCP Heat in the first round. NBK took out the series leaders and made it to the semi finals. They lost in semis to then play in the 3rd/4th place game and was able to finish 3rd. High Intensity, which also had a slow start finished strong winning the event and taking over the overall season leader spot.
