Who is on Top of the Race for the NPPL Road to Vegas?

As The NPPL is halfway through the series there are several tight races between each division with one question lingering, who will become the 2011 NPPL Super 7 Series Champion?

In the Pro Division San Diego Dynasty has taken the cup twice, with a fight against Sacramento XSV in Huntington Beach and a close race between St. Louis Avalanche in Chicago. This secured Dynasty in first place for a total of 42 points. Only ten points behind Dynasty is Edmonton Impact with a total of 32 points midway through the series. After a great showing in Huntington Beach, Sacramento XSV had some struggles in Chicago as they remain at the third place spot for a total of 27 just on the heels of Edmonton Impact. St. Louis Avalanche came out from under the shadows and had a strong fight in Chicago for the cup against Dynasty. Avalanche just fell short from the winning, but was able to secure the 4th place spot for a total of 25 points creating a close race for all four teams.

Division One has a very close race between the top four teams. The fourth place spot is only 12 points shy from the first place spot and is still anybody’s game for the Series title. Critical Wrecking Crew comes out on the first place spot for a total of 90 points midway through. In second is a tie between tough competitors Impact Echo and Dynasty 2 each with a total of 86 points. In the third place spot and fighting for the top spot is Warped Army with a total of 78 points.  Who is going to win the DC Challenge and take the top spot for the Ranking?

With only one point determining the first place leader in the Division Two race, it may come down to the mental game. UXP Tombstone is holding the first place spot with a total of 84 points and just one point behind is Marine Team One with a total of 83 points. The DC Challenge might be the deciding factor on who will take the series cup. With a total of 67 points Minions comes in third place with a chance to come back and take one of the top two spots if having a great showing in DC. 3CT is not far behind Minions by taking the fourth place spot for a total of 62 points. Both 3CT and Minions have a fighting chance to take over the top two spots for the remaining of the series.

In Division Three DBS Paintball has dominated both the Huntington Beach and Chicago events coming out on top for the first place spot with a total of 100 points. Putting up a strong fight, Chicagoland Paintball is holding the second place spot with a total of 77 points in the series. TCP H8 Factory secures the third place spot for a total of 66 points and TKO Blackout rounds up the fourth place spot with 52 points. You never know what turn of events can happen and it is still anyone’s race.

With a strong showing in Huntington Beach and Chicago, Centermass Hawaii has proven they are competitors in the Fourth Division. With limited resources on the Islands of Hawaii, Centermass Hawaii has come out on top in the first place spot with a total of 96 points. Not far behind is Toxic in second place with a total of 79 points. Iron Legion is putting up a fight and keeping a close race with a total of 68 points holding up the third place spot. XSVOT is staying in the race for fourth place with a total of 64 points making it a competition for the Fourth Division.

Total Grief has been making it a challenge for the Pump division by taking the cup for both Huntington Beach and Chicago events, for a first place total of 100 points. Milwaukee Throwback secures the second place spot with a total of 75 points putting the team Zero in the third place spot with a total of 62 points. Finishing off in the fourth place spot is LAhitman.com, but still has a fighting chance for a comeback.

With two events left in the series, the DC Challenge and Las Vegas World Paintball Championships, it is still anyone’s game to take the series cup! Who will come out on top and be named the champions of the 2011 season?
